Communication

If the POS loses internet connection, Essential Plus can revert to 4G/3G connection via the device’s internal modem.

Note: The PC EFTPOS client on the POS will need to be configured to the device’s internal modem fallback redundancy for the 4G/3G back-up capability to work.

Let’s see what else is in the box.

The device also comes with a 4G/3G Optus SIM pre-installed. This back-up capability (fallback redundancy) ensures the business can continue to accept payments, even when their primary communication method is unavailable.
