Would you like a receipt?

I can’t print receipts! The ticket booth has last minute seats going like hot cakes – everyone wants a seat before kick-off. The device has run out of paper and I can’t figure out how to open it – could you help me please?

Thanks Sally – so now you’ve been identified and verified, I have a quick question before we start. Are the rolls CBA issued tally rolls?

Hmm…not sure – why do you ask?

Well, rolls can be different sizes and they don’t fit all device types. More importantly, our devices don’t contain ink and the CBA tally rolls have a built-in resin, which basically means the paper produces the ink used for printing the receipt. This is why the rolls need to be from CBA’s Evolve stationary store.

Well that’s pretty clever – self-printing paper! OK, I’ve double checked and the rolls are CBA issued – they even have the CBA logo on the back.

Great! So follow these steps

So what happens if a receipt rolls runs out, can I print a duplicate?

Yes to print a duplicate receipt simply:

1. Press the Menu Key

2. Press [1] to enter EFTPOS menu

3. Press [1] to select Duplicate Receipt

4. Duplicate receipt will be printed.

No worries – just make sure you order in advance from evolve and have a good supply of the rolls so you don’t run out!

Step one

Click on where you would open the compartment from the underside of the device.

Step two

Position the device horizontally in front of the user with the hatch open.

Step three

Receipt roll positioned so it shows the paper over the top of the roll. Click where you would pull the paper out so it has a bit of a lip or overhang – this will make it easier to feed through.

Step four

Press on both upper corners of the contactless landing zone, until it audibly ‘clips’ in.

Step five

Click on the feed key to advance the paper.
