User-friendly, fast transactions with Essential Lite Move

At Essential stadium, nothing is more important for the sales staff than serving their customers quickly, efficiently, and maximising sales during the event.

Jason has been on the phone to technical support for some help with his Essential Lite Move device.

So I know how to process a sale – I just want to check on doing refunds. I have the device here – what do I need to know?

Ok we can run through that together. Firstly, you know that we can only process refunds to the same card account used for the original transaction?

Yes – that’s standard.

Great. So, to refund, we start by

1. pressing the [F3] key below OTHER- can you see that there?

Yes – got it. Ok done.

2. Press [1] to select a refund transaction from the menu

3. Enter the amount of the transaction and press [OK]

4. Enter the manager password and press [OK]

Do you know what the manager’s password is?

Yes, I have that.

5. So swipe, insert or tap the customer’s card and follow the prompts you see on the screen.

Then the rest of the refund transaction flow is the same as a purchase transaction.
